What you'll do

Record and categorize daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online or Xero
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations across accounts
Create and send invoices, track vendor bills, and manage payables and receivables
Support payroll processing, including taxes and deductions
Generate financial reports (P&L, balance sheets) for the founder or accountant
Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts, and support document prep for tax season

What we're looking for

Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online or Xero and general accounting principles
2+ years of bookkeeping experience
High attention to detail and accuracy with financial data
Advanced Excel or spreadsheet skills
Clear written communication for reporting to the founder or their accountant
