Appointment Setter / Sales Development VA

This role owns outbound and inbound lead follow-up — qualifying interest and getting the right people on the founder’s calendar, without the founder having to chase a single lead themselves.

What you'll do

Make outbound calls or texts to warm and cold leads to qualify interest and book calls
Respond to inbound inquiries and new leads quickly, often within minutes
Confirm, reschedule, and follow up on booked appointments to reduce no-shows
Qualify leads against defined criteria before handing off to the founder or sales rep
Log every call, text, and email touchpoint in the CRM to keep the pipeline accurate
Nurture leads that aren’t ready yet with scheduled follow-up outreach

What we're looking for

Prior experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, or inside sales
Confident, professional phone manner with strong listening skills
Proficiency with CRM software for logging activity and managing the pipeline
Highly organized, able to manage a multi-lead follow-up schedule without dropping people
Persistent but not pushy — comfortable with rejection and repeated follow-up
Reliable internet and availability across US/Canada business hours
